I've had these hiatal hernia symptoms since I was a trivial child; constant belching after every few bites or meal, and distention of my breadbasket, usually starting from the lower abdominal area and working its way up. I went to a specialist, a gastroenterologist because my GERD is getting worse. He did 2 endoscopy and the result is, I don't accept whatsoever hernia. I was diagnosed with Barrett's esophagus 21 years ago and have been on pantoprazole since. Fifteen months ago I began choking after eating and had chest pain and sickness. This began to get astringent and I lost a lot of weight. I had an endoscopy and was told I had a sliding and rolling hiatal hernia and demand surgery. This year, and since the lockdown started I have had two flare-ups where I take felt sick and been having a pain around the breastbone area. I have been diagnosed with hiatal hernia after an endoscopy. My attacks can terminal 4 hours of vomiting clear mucous every 2 minutes. I cannot sit in between vomiting equally my back needs to exist ramrod direct or I tin can't breathe and the vomiting will occur every 20 seconds instead. I cannot swallow during these attacks as it feels as if my throat is closed and it is very painful to try.
