Disliked: Civilities, property conditions & facilities

They were quick to change our room when we found that the estrus didn't work but they had the puddle expanse closed for quite some fourth dimension and each staff member had a different story equally to why. I stayed at this property 9 months ago and it has gone severely downhill since.

They exercise not have a restraint or bar. Pool or in order. Manager seemed more interested in her conversation with other employee who was trying to cheque us in. Said they had laundry. Notta. Daughter asked virtually laundry facility. Front desk replied. What practice you lot need that for?

Life later on people

The puddle/atrium area is beautiful, but information technology ends there. Sadly this oversized property is what happens after a town dies. Carpets were wet from roof leaks, rooms were in serious need of repairs and updates, only staff seemed to be doing their best to make things experience improve.

Lobby looks great & that's it. Room was in poor condition. A loud loftier pitched humming noise through bathroom vent heard all night...I couldn't slumber at all.

Kickoff impression "abandoned" no cars in the ice and snowfall covered parking lot, anteroom was prissy receptionist a footling difficult to empathize. Rooms super dated, starting time room, dingy grey towels used to be white im assuming.hotel bar and restaurant closed like out if business closed. Game room locked. Front desk stated closed. Wet floors in hall, exterior doors non operable from within or out. I would not recomend this place to anyone, in its electric current condition.

Don't stay hither unless you hav as well.

Common cold shower, tub would not drain, Bed linens had stains, parking lot full of ice some areas you could non even drive on. Towels were yellowed. Bar and eating place were both closed until farther find.

Hotel was nice and what I expected

Overall hotel was nice. A bit dated but for the charge we did expect that. My only big issue was around the pool area there were several unsupervised kids that decided to run laps up and down the hallway nigh running into me as I left my room. I but wish the hotel mgmt would monitor that surface area to try and command situations like that better. Would stay again when in the expanse.

The sink was full of gunk, the shower was freezing cold, there was no fridge, it was deserted, locating the room was a mess, and the blankets were and then thin I was shivering all nighttime. I felt like micheal myers would jump out at me in there. Never staying once more.

Last infinitesimal finish during a trip halting snowstorm. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Desk-bound service was fast and helpful. Morn weather clean up staff was friendly. Unfortunate that dining facilities take limited open hours/days as there was no fashion I was making some other trip out.

It sucked! The photos are misleading! The unabridged place was just terrible! Even the parking lot! ii stories without an elevator...really. The breakfast nutrient was disgusting! It'southward run down. It'southward old I'grand royally pissed near the coin I spent!

Pictures do not come close to matching advertisement. Comforters are old 80'south manner blankets with sheets that practise not fit bedding. Two pocket-size towels with no wash clothes. Room is cold and has a heater from 1970 something. Simply not even close to pictures nor up to the standards of the start rating. I would give information technology 1 star. They lady who checked u.s.a. in was very nice. Although we had to walk back iii times considering keys did not work for room and had to motility us to another.

There'due south no lift on this belongings. Non ADA compliant. Bad! I'm not ADA but seriously, in 2018? How is that even allowed?!?! Enjoy carrying your purse up and down the stairs. Check in took mode besides long. Poor desk agent was in calendar week 1 by herself on a nighttime when there was a wedding going on. Naturally it took her longer to complete tasks and she often had questions. The other gal there, perchance a manager or supervisor, was helping her merely twice fabricated it known to those of united states waiting at the desk that she was off the clock and so couldn't help in some means. Finally got my room, 2nd flooring. Keys didn't work. Back down to the desk. Making new keys was an take a chance. Back upstairs and even so non working. Manager off the clock gal went up with me to detect the door was locked out. She used her master and then my keys worked. Rooms are older. Beds are awful, squeaky. Towels way too small and old. Gratis WiFi is a plus. No free water though. Not sure if in that location's a bar or restaurant open up on site. Never saw one. Bar was closed on a Saturday night with a hymeneals going on. Room was right virtually the washer / dryer. Fabricated for hearing a lot of conversations outside my door - at 2am, 4am you name it. Wedding ceremony parties tend to exist upwardly late so that was a joy on night 1. The drunken argument was especially fun (not). It'due south Rockford and so grading on a bend, this is probably one of the bigger and "nicer" options but it leaves a lot to be desired. I won't return

The room was clean. My primal cards didn't work because the lock reader was muddied. The roof was leaking in several areas of the common expanse. Weeds grew everywhere, they obviously don't own a weed wacker They opened up the continental breakfast a one-half hour late The forepart desk staff made u.s. wait while they finished their cigarette interruption

I cull the hotel because it was close to the racetrack and it had a bar inside the hotel .....staff was very prissy just the rooms need updating extremely and the bar was closed both nights nosotros stayed ....

Very close to Beloit College, staff very friendly, but hotel rooms looked a little run downwards. Bathroom tub was clogged and didn't drain properly. Room window faces walkway/hallway and then y'all have to keep the defunction closed otherwise in that location is no privacy. However, bed was comfy and I slept well.

And then much updating to be done to the hotel which would take fabricated it and then much improve. The bedding and towels were extremely old, they had a grey tint to them from existence and then overused. Nosotros had four people staying in our room, still we had 3 towels and 1 washcloth. The puddle looks amazing on the website, even so the heater was broke and was ice cold. Information technology was a identify to stay, merely I tin say we won't be staying there again.

It was very run downwardly. The lobby was pretty skillful just everything else was lacking. The refrigerator didn't piece of work so we asked at the front desk-bound merely were told it wasn't a fridge but a chiller, despite proverb fridge on the unit itself. The bath door didn't close and carpeting was very frayed.

This hotel was okay. The only reason we stayed was becasue information technology was the but hotel available closest to Rockford (xx min) on a very busy weekend. There isn't much around the hotel but a Denys a few gas stations and a family restarraunt. The lobby is nice and pretty updated. Equally for the rooms they're a bit outdated but they exercise the job. Only no mini fridge or microwave. We also got the wrong room. We got two queen beds when nosotros were suppose to get one king bed. It was bad-mannered. And when I chosen the front desk-bound I only got an I'm deplorable. Nothing else was washed. So overall this hotel is but okay.

Looks super sketchy from the exterior, hotel is need of some serious landscape up keep, room was so so, bed was ok but blankets have been there for 20 years, place was not at all what information technology looked like in the pictures.

Nosotros found dead crickets in the room. Information technology was too nigh 95 in the room when we checked in. At that place was only ane washcloth and i paw towel in the room.

Outdated and Seedy

The halls and rooms are outdated and seedy. There is an overwhelming olfactory property of chemical cleaners. Did not want to shower there, walk barefoot, or do anything other than sleep subsequently a long drive. For what I spent, we could have had equal or better with a cabin. Wish I had some pictures...odd stains on walls and carpets here and there.

A neat place to stay I think

It was a great hotel to stay at and the swimming pool is really dainty. The rooms are tranquillity and it was great sleeping. There is some where visible in the hotel but they are in the process of renovating the whole affair and overall it'southward a great place to stay

I did not like the style the hotel looked on tbe exterior. Too many weeds and the landscaping is not taken intendance of. The lobby and pool surface area were nice. The rooms needed alot of updating and the bedding wad terrible. The once white towels were greyness and dingy looking. Sarah the front end desk clerk was very gracious and kind.

Peachy place to stay wonderful puddle. Demand to piece of work on the exterior appearance-weed and trim mural for heavens sake. Doesn't lucifer up with on line pics. Thank goodness for restaurant beyond the street equally the hotel amenities were shut down on a Sat night considering of a doings in i of the conference rooms. All available staff was at that place I judge. Oh well!

Commencement room we were in the rug was wet- told staff and they moved united states of america rooms. The 2d room didn't accept a microwave like the offset did. The beding was on its terminal leg- very worn. The beginning dark in the room I saw a bug on the bed side table. The toilet ran all night and woke me upwardly a couple of times. The shower did not bleed. My boyfriend thought the bathroom smelled like bo. The key cards they gave us- did not work, had to become the housekeeping staff to get u.s.a. into the room. And then my fellow went to the continental breakfast on Sunday- they simply serve information technology on the weekends and he said it was the worst continental breakfast he has ever seen and he got sausage and said that information technology was non cooked through. He spit it out. Never again. Definitely not worth the price at all. Don't waste product your money here!

Sufficient, but not ideal

Hotel is safe and is sufficient for a identify to slumber, but could have been more comfortable. Our air conditioner was on "full boom" but was not capable of totally cooling the room to an ideal temperature, probably because the room was facing the entirely-windowed hallway which faced the dominicus and was always sweltering hot. Beds were supposedly queen size only they were teeny and we felt cramped, so I highly incertitude that's what they were. Hard mattress and single pillow per person (when ii people to a bed) left u.s.a. with aches and pains in the morning! Also wish the breakfast buffet had more than options. It serves well for a safe, clean place to stay, only wish the room was more comfortable so we weren't wishing to go home so desperately!

What a disappointing stay. The parking lot and edifice are run-down, to say the to the lowest degree. The Ac inappreciably blew plenty air to go along the room temperate, the door on the room did not lock (could only utilise the chain), at that place were dead insects on the floor in the bathroom. Had there been ANY OTHER place to sleep in boondocks, other than in our car, we would have selected it. And the kicker -- when nosotros left the hotel we got to walk through a plume of smoke that was beingness generated past three employees smoking exterior the front end door.
